Muhammad Anas Rashid

I was born and raised in Lahore, Pakistan — a city I spent the first 25 years of my life in. All my schooling, my earliest memories, and the foundations of who I am were built there. Lahore is a fantastic city, rich with history, culture, and some of the most remarkable historical sites you'll find anywhere in the world. It holds a very special place in my heart.

I started my professional life in Lahore in 2017, joining the workforce as a Salesforce Developer. It was the beginning of what has turned into a career I'm genuinely proud of. But by 2019, something shifted in me — a quiet but persistent desire to see what I was capable of beyond the familiar. I wanted to push myself outside my comfort zone, explore the world, and find out how far I could go on my own terms.

That decision led to my first move abroad. In 2020, through my job at the time, I was given the opportunity to relocate to Belgrade, Serbia. On the surface it might not have sounded glamorous — but it turned out to be one of the best decisions I've made. Belgrade opened doors I hadn't anticipated: new friendships, exposure to different cultures and societies, and real growth — both professionally and personally.

Then in 2022, another opportunity arrived — this time to move to Switzerland. I came for the job, but stayed for everything else too: the landscapes, the cultures, the people, and the chance to continue learning and growing. I'm still here, and I'm grateful for it.

I don't know where life will take me next — and honestly, that's part of what makes it exciting. I'm thankful to Allah for everything that has been given to me, and I remain hopeful and curious about wherever the road leads from here.
